Overview
The San Gabriel River Trail (SGRT) is a 38 paved bike trail in Los Angeles County, California. The trail starts at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area near the San Gabriel Mountains and ends at Seal Beach on the Pacific Ocean. This trail is mostly urban passing a lot of industrial sites and following the Los Angeles River as well. There are several parks along the way including El Dorado Park in Long Beach and Wilderness Park in Downey. The trail is a popular training ride. Caution shoud be used when entering trail tunnels becuase accidents are common. Be sure to signal your approach at all times.
This trail connects to both the Rio Hondo Trail and the San Gabriel River Trail.
