Norwottock Rail Trail Overview
 The
Norwottock Rail Trail is a very popular and easy to ride rail
trail located in Massachusetts near Amherst. The trail is
part of the Connecticut River Greenway State Park and is fairly
flat its entire distance. There are with several ral and historic
attractions and is supported with several sinesses including
bike shops, bike rental services, bed & breakfasts and
shuttle services.
Highlights
include the 1400 foot long Connecticut River Bridge which
joins Northampton with Hadley. It was originally part of the
Massachusetts Central Railroad.
Parking
Access is available at both end points on the trail and in
Hadley
at Mountain Farms Mall behind the Bread & Circus Market.
