Gorge which is often called the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania
and is listed as a National Natural Landmark. Natural
amenities include Pine Creek, waterfalls and unique
rock formations. There is an abundance of wildlife that
includes coyote, deer, eagles, hawks, ospreys, and wild
turkeys. State parks along the trail are Colton Point
and Leonard Harrison and State Parks.
There
are multiple services available to users of the Pine
Creek Trail including horseback

trips, rafting trips, bike
rentals and a shuttle service. According to the state
web site there are restaurants
and hotels
near the north end of the trail, campgrounds at both
the north and south ends of the trail, and several bed
and breakfasts located at the southern end of the trail.
